  • Bad eating habits regardless of your health issues
  • Giving yourself sugary foods as a reward

Sugar causes addiction and the more sugar you eat, the more your body will ask for more. This is why it is essential to break your sugar eating habits.

There is an endless list of benefits if you remove sugar from your diet. You will feel better instantly and your body will eventually thank you. You might think that breaking the sugar cycle is impossible, but with this 3-day meal plan we will help you start the journey to a healthier sugar-free life.

Day 1

  • Breakfast: a cup of oats, berries and almonds or any type of seeds. Or optionally, you can eat 3 eggs, scrambled or boiled.
  • Snack: a small bowl of nuts.
  • Lunch: one chicken breast with cooked butternut squash, turnips, carrots, beets, parsnip, beans and almonds.
  • Dinner: a bowl of green beans and broiled fish, or salmon with some mushrooms and broccoli.

Day 2

  • Breakfast: a cup of steel-cut oats and berries with some seeds or almonds and scrambled eggs with spinach.
  • Snack: a small bowl of nuts.
  • Lunch: grilled yellow and red peppers with grilled zucchini and some vinegar, lemon and thyme dressing. Optionally, you can eat a salad with shredded red and green cabbage and carrots with some parsley, lemon, oil and salt.
  • Dinner: baked cod and steamed vegetables soup, some vegetable casserole, or you can have a cod with stir-fried bok choy and some roasted turnips and Brussel sprouts.

Day 3

  • Breakfast: a cup of steel-cut oats with berries, almonds and seeds, or an omelet with 3 eggs, kale and your choice of seasoning.
  • Snack: a small bowl of nuts.
  • Lunch: roasted chicken highs prepared with some sage, rosemary and lemon or oven roasted chicken with onion, black olives and thyme.
  • Dinner: prepare a hot soup from mushrooms, celery, garlic, thyme and carrots with some bay leaves. Optionally, you can have penne pasta from brown rice and some mushroom, tomato and basil sauce.

Sugar Detox Drinks

Besides food, it is also important to care for your drinking habits. You must learn to drink water more often, since it will keep you hydrated and it will give your body a chance to function properly. Remove sugar sodas, energy drinks and processed juices from your daily diet and you will see your metabolism improve in no time.

  1. Detox water: you need to use some chopped strawberries, blueberries, oranges, grapefruit, mint and rosemary and then put everything in a jar and add some water. Keep the jar in your fried and drink this daily.
  2. Tea: include green tea or any other herbal three in your diet and try to take it 3 times a day.
  3. Coffee: Restrict your coffee to only one cup a day, with no sugar or cream.

This 3-day plan will help you remove sugar from your diet and you will improve your overall health.
